You’re invited to my session “Apps 2015: A legal odyssey” @ ITCamp

 

OK, it’s been official since February 2015: I will speak at ITCamp twice in a row. I was among the speakers from the 2014 edition and will speak for this year’s edition as well.

Many of you already know about www.itcamp.ro – the technology conference held in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. But you may not know that in 2015 the conference has a new track – “Business in IT”. In addition to the technical tracks, this new one is rather non-technical and includes sessions covering subjects like product management, leadership, legal issues, medium and long term vision in IT, culture and sales.

So I will be in Cluj on 21 & 22 May, together with a bunch of smart IT guys who will probably ‘dissect’ many of the technology trends.

My session from Friday, 22 May, is called “Apps 2015: A legal odyssey”. I see it as an overview of a few legal issues faced by developers when launching their apps – for example, intellectual property tailored to the software industry, contracts with resellers and platform providers, privacy – all seasoned with some practical examples. It would be awesome to have public interaction as I did last year.
