Claudia has wide expertise in commercial law and specializes in intellectual property, IT/technology, privacy & personal data protection and e-commerce.
For 13 years, she has been advising international and domestic clients on IT law, data protection (GDPR included), copyright, industrial design, database rights, registration, protection and infringement proceedings on trademarks, Internet domain names disputes, licensing, franchising matters, etc.
Claudia is also experienced in telecom and consumer protection regulations, as well as in any advertising and promotion-related legal aspects. In addition, her work covers drafting and negotiation of a wide range of contracts, participation to legal due diligence investigations and representation of clients before state authorities.
Before founding Jlaw in 2012, Claudia was a lawyer with two of the largest law firms in Romania, CMS Cameron McKenna and PeliFilip, where she advised many high profile corporations mainly from IT&C, pharma and FMCG industries.
She is a member of the Bucharest Bar and of the Romanian Chamber of Industrial Property Attorneys. Claudia is fluent in English.
In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, painting and MTB.
She is a Vizsla mom and Nadia’s biggest fan.
